The Private Estate Network: A National Standard, Founded in Colorado

Colorado Estate Management was built on a conviction that the families who entrust their homes to private service professionals deserve people who are vetted, credentialed, and accountable. That principle is why I founded The Private Estate Network (PEN), a national credentialing and visibility platform connecting the country's premier luxury markets with the professionals who serve them at the highest level.

Why I Founded The Private Estate Network

As founder of Colorado Estate Management and the Colorado Private Estate Network, I spent years watching exceptional private service professionals operate without a shared standard of recognition. Talented estate managers and household professionals had no national framework affirming their credibility to the families and family offices evaluating them. PEN closes that gap, establishing a vetted community across the nation's most prominent luxury markets so families gain confidence and professionals gain the visibility their work merits.

Why Fractional Is the Model Discerning Families Choose

The most sophisticated households are moving away from full-time estate staff and toward fractional management, and the logic is straightforward. A fractional model delivers the full competency of a senior estate professional without the full-time payroll, the HR burden, the benefits load, or the management overhead that a permanent hire carries. Service scales with life rather than sitting fixed: oversight increases during a renovation, contracts during extended travel, and expands into a second market when a new property is acquired.

This is not a lesser version of estate management; it is the version that fits how discerning families actually live. Many maintain residences across several markets, each with its own seasonal rhythm and vendor ecosystem, and none requiring a full-time presence on its own. A fractional professional brings senior judgment, institutional knowledge, and proactive stewardship to each property precisely when it is needed, through a single accountable relationship. Increasingly, this is the model that families, family offices, and the advisors around them prefer.

Built for Families, Family Offices, Builders, and Realtors

The fractional model serves several audiences who share a standard of excellence, each for distinct reasons.

The Private Estate Network connects all of them with vetted professionals who deliver this model in their market.

Family Offices

Family offices manage real property as one asset class among many and expect the same standard of reporting, accountability, and strategic oversight they apply to every other. Fractional estate management delivers institutional-grade oversight of residences, consolidated multi-property reporting, vendor consolidation, and preventative maintenance planning, all without adding headcount to the office or staff to the household. It is estate management aligned with how a family office already thinks.

Luxury Builders and Developers

A builder's reputation does not end at handoff; it lives in how the home performs once the family moves in. Network members provide white-glove turnover services, pre-handoff systems documentation, move-in coordination, and ongoing fractional oversight that protects the ownership experience and, by extension, the builder's name. This is the operational foundation that differentiates a property, deepens buyer satisfaction, and helps close the sale, with no full-time hire or HR complexity for anyone.

Luxury Realtors

For a luxury agent, the relationship with a client should not end at closing. Introducing a trusted fractional estate professional gives a new owner immediate local expertise: vendor relationships established, every system documented, and a seamless first year of ownership, whether the family is in residence or away. That introduction reflects well on the agent, keeps the client relationship warm for future transactions and referrals, and turns a single sale into a lasting advisory connection.

Multi-Property Families

From a Front Range estate and a mountain ski chalet to a coastal compound and a city pied-à-terre, families with holdings in several markets gain coordinated oversight across the entire portfolio through one trusted relationship. Consistent standards travel with the family to every market they call home, eliminating the friction of independent vendors and unanswered calls in each location.

What PEN Membership Represents

Every PEN member is individually vetted for experience, discretion, and standard of service before joining. Membership is not a listing anyone can purchase; it is a distinction earned through review. Each member operates independently, chosen for a proven record of serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.

Individually Vetted

Professional due diligence precedes membership.

Experience, references, and a demonstrated standard of discretion are confirmed before any firm appears in the directory.

Independent, Yet Connected

Members run their own practices in their own markets.

The network connects them for referral, shared standards, and the collegiality that private service work too often lacks.

The Network's Member Firms by Market

PEN's members are independent estate management practices serving distinct luxury markets nationwide. I am proud to stand alongside these firms. Wire each firm name as a link to the destination shown in parentheses, opening in a new tab, with the firm name as the anchor text.
